Carrara in the World is an association of volunteers recognized by the Tuscany Region which aims to organize cultural and recreative events, which represent an element of citizen's participation and socializing.

Its aim is to trace the presence of the citizens of Carrara in the world and to tell their stories through images, documents and tales.

This site has been created to extend support and to inform of our enterprises.

We would like it to become a place where everyone can exchange news and information.

Many of ours projects have been realized with the Sports Veterans Union of Carrara, of which Carrara in the World is an essential part. One of these was the publication of the story concerning the four Olympic champions of Carrara who won the gold medal with the National football team in 1936 in Berlin.

We hope this site can become a place full of interesting stories, able to unite and to put in touch the citizens of Carrara in the world.
